Like the winds of the sea are the ways of fate, ~Ella Wheeler Wilcox (1850 - 1919) Wilcox was an American author and popular poet, often expressing her sentiments of cheer and optimism. Her best-known work was Poems of Passion, although she did write a series of books entitled "Poems of..." which featured Cheer, Experience, Optimism, Power, Progress, Purpose, and Sentiment.
