Friends are such an important part of our everyday lives. The wonderful friendship messages found here will hopefully remind us all how much those special people mean to us, and provide us with ways to tell them how much we care in return.

The best part of having (and being) a good friend is the love and support we provide to one another. Friends accept us for who we are. They don't try to change us or expect us to be someone we're not.

A close friend might be someone you see every day, each week or only a once a month.

You may not even live close to each other anymore and only speak on the phone occasionally, but those conversations pick up as if you had only seen each other yesterday. That's how great a beautiful friendship can be!

I have a wonderful friend that lives on the other side of the country from me now. We talk to each other on our birthdays, at Christmas and occasionally phone one another during the year "just to chat" and catch up on news.

This best friend of mine was the maid of honor at my second marriage and we tell each other everything that is going on in our lives. As much as I would love to have her living nearby, that isn't possible, but we still maintain a close relationship, even after 10 years apart. That's what a true friend is!

I remember watching the muppet T.V. show Fraggle Rock when my children were very young. I loved those furry little creatures - they were so much fun!

One thing that I do remember the best about that TV show was the special bond these Fraggles had with one another. After a bit of searching, I found a video for the friendship song that Boober and Red sang while trapped in a tunnel. It's a great song to remind us how important a friend can be.
