Friendship greeting cards are a wonderful way to let your friends know that you care and are thinking about them.

Whether you are giving a gift or not, a card says a lot, especially when you include a touching verse of friendship poetry.

A "real" card is something that they can keep forever and that's why I'm not suggesting you send an ecard. I feel that emailed cards too impersonal. You read it and delete it.

An actual paper card though, means that you took the time out of your busy day to actually look (or make) one that says exactly what you mean in your heart.

That tells the other person that they mean a lot to you and that's a wonderful gift in itself.

Friendship Day is celebrated on the first Sunday of August each year. What began in the US in 1935, has now spread throughout the world. The idea is to spend time with your friends and to express your appreciation and love for them.
